10 am Freyja Home Seed Saving – Tips on Trait Selection and Intentionality

Join Freya the Dirt Nerd for a fun discussion of the nerdy side of seed saving! If you’re someone who likes saving seeds in your garden (or likes the idea of doing it and will definitely get around to it one of these years!) this workshop is for you. Level up your plant stewardship, and gain the skills to develop your own heirloom varieties at home!

11:30am – 12:30pm Dancin’ Dan

Explore personal creative movement and learn how to express that from the heart. Facilitation includes why we need to move, and why it doesn’t matter what it looks like! No Wrong Moves!!

Too many classes are geared toward staying in step, choreography, and that does not work for some, so I’ve created a 60 minute class based on fun creative movement, thru visualization, and body mechanics, and releasing emotional energy in a safe way, and the kids won’t even know they are doing it because they will be having so much fun!

1:00pm – 2:00pm Frogman Beginner Balloon Creations

2:00pm – 3:30pm Tree of Life

Join counsellor, Eco therapist, and educator Kelly Blanchard on a creative, nature-based activity. After a short mindful walk, you are invited to find a sit-spot (bring a small chair, blanket, or seat pad) and Kelly will guide you through The Tree of Life, a drawing activity in which each part of the tree represents an aspect of you and your life. This activity can be easily adjusted for younger participants.

2:30pm – 3:30pm Luke the Kangaroo. Live kids show

4:00pm – 5:00pm Meringue & Merengue

5, 6, 7, 8 – Zumba! Come say “hey” and let’s merengue. This Latin-inspired dance workout is more like a dance party. The workshop will include stretching, shoulder shimming, hip shaking, toe tapping and lemon meringue pie eating. All ages welcome.

Sunday

9:00am – 10:00am Yoga with Denise and Juda

10:30am – 12:00pm Forest Bathing with Angelic Singing

We will meet at the workshop tent and travel together to our destination. Bring your childlike curiosity and love for nature. The Ethereal Jayce, your guide, will welcome you into the forest with their beautiful voice. Guiding you back into your own body with movement, sound, and stillness. And then help you to expand your awareness outwards to your surroundings. This is a communal experience of love and expansion.

11:00am – 12:30pm Curating Cleaner Waters with Isabelle LaPlante and Jamie Black

What do we do?

Why is all this garbage on the beach?

We must do something. Wait, we don’t know what caused this so we’d better get our swords out.

And maybe, once we clean up this garbage… maybe we could make Seal and an Otter, and they can help us tell the world about this huge problem.

Right… but who do we gotta tell, that will prevent waste from ending up in these waters?

I don’t know, but we got to do something!!!

1-2pm Old Time Jam and Workshop – Hosted by Bex Bee and the Sweather Weather Stringband
